Starting this Sunday, September 7, we'll return to our normal schedule, and we invite you to come be a part of it!

First Pres offers an adult Sunday School class at 9:30am. Our worship service is at 10:30am. A Children's Church program is available (during the church service) upon request for ages 4 through Grade 6. Please stay after worship for casual fellowship and delicious treats at coffee hour (in Eastwick Auditorium).

The service will be in the air conditioned Eastwick Auditorium for several more weeks before transitioning upstairs to the Sanctuary.

Thanks to all who came out to National Night Out on Haws Ave last night. The community showed up! After last year's cancellation the community came out with 26 organizations and 500 visitors. We were present and handed out over 200 bottles of cold water (the only group to have it COLD) and a number of them had special stickers with our church name, address, and website.

Special thanks to Joe & Joyce for their presence and hauling everything with Dan & Brian showing up to help as well. Please mark your calendars for August 4, 2026 and we'll do it again.

Our Presbytery has put together an item drive that, similar to the Christmas Shoeboxes, makes giving a creative endeavor. Emergency Cleanup Buckets offer vital cleaning supplies for immediate disaster relief, supporting the work of Presbyterian Disaster Assistance in helping communities recover and rebuild.

The Presbytery of Philadelphia is proud to sponsor this effort, providing a tangible way to offer care and hope in times of crisis. Join us in supporting Buckets of Blessings!

Two ways to donate:

Please continue to pray for the hard situation in Texas. Here are two more specific ways to give (also through our denomination):

  • Presbyterian Mo-Ranch Assembly: Mo-Ranch is a PC(USA)-affiliated camp and conference center in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. While they sustained damage to their own property, they have opened their facilities to feed and house disaster relief workers and displaced families.

  • Presbyterian Disaster Assistance: PDA shows up early and stays after other organizations have left, providing spiritual care, emotional support and physical resources to affected communities.
