Special Presentation and Discussion

June 7 after coffee hour

We have had several of these Christian Education times on such wide-ranging subjects as creation/evolution and the endtimes. This time the topic will be the various views of just war among Christians (also the subject of Pastor Martin’s most recent column). There will be a 10-15 minute slideshow on four different Christian views, and then we will circle the chairs for an informal discussion with whomever wants to stick around.

Please join us for our monthly Men's Breakfast, in partnership with Lower Providence Presbyterian Church. The breakfast will be in Eastwick fellowship hall with Chaplain Jack Nigro speaking. The suggested donation for the hot breakfast is $10. Please RSVP as soon as possible to the church office so we can get an accurate headcount.

Young Lives is a ministry that supports teenage parents, and it meets right here in our building. From Mother's Day through Father's Day, we're collecting loose change to support this important ministry. You can pick up a baby bottle on Sunday and work to fill the bottle with change.

This is a small and fun way to give to a valuable ministry that seeks to aid young parents and prove that every life deserves a home and a chance. If you would like to give online, please click here.

New Volunteer Meeting on Wednesday, May 20 at 6pm in Eastwick: This ministry also needs those who are willing to invest in the lives of young parents and their kids. If you're curious to learn more, please consider attending this meeting.
