On Saturday, September 7 the Men's Breakfast here in Eastwick Auditorium/fellowship hall had 20 men come together for food and fellowship: three from Lower Providence Presbyterian, a number of our men, and several guests including our former interim pastor Bill Caraher, who has recovered and thanks us for our prayers.  Pastor Gadiel Gomez of Central Presbyterian spoke on his life and decades of ministry, both in Guatemala and the last 21 years here in Norristown, with our own Alex Perez translating for portions.  Special thanks to him for that and to Art Cobb for his hard work on a delicious and homemade breakfast

Next men's breakfast will be 8am on October 5 back at Lower Providence Presbyterian Church.

You're invited to join our Adult Sunday School class on discipleship. We study God's Word together and have a lively discussion about becoming a disciple that disciples others. Newcomers are always welcome. The class meets Sundays at 9:30am in the Chapel.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18-20

First Pres is hosting on Saturday, September 7 at 8am!

There will be a Men's Breakfast here in Eastwick, and the weekend jurors' parking lot is available. This is our chance to return all the hospitality Lower Providence Presbyterian Church has given us with their men's breakfasts over the years.

Pastor Gadiel Gomez of Central Presbyterian will speak on Central's 21 years of Spanish-language ministry and answer questions about that church. This should be a great opportunity for us and the saints of Lower Providence to get to know that ministry better.

We will serve a hot breakfast - suggested donation is still $10 and please RSVP to our office at 610.272.1357. Starting in October Lower Providence Pres will resume hosting.
